AND THE WINNER IS?????????

Since announcing that Gassaways Adventures was approaching 10,000 hits and the announcement that there will be a contest to see who that person was, the Internet has been buzzing with anticipation.  A whopping 55 people clicked on the Gassaways Adventures link, putting us way over the 10,000 threshold.  Now 55 hits may not seem like much to you, but it's pretty respectable for us, seeing as we're not Yahoo or some porn site.  Anyway, the staff (that would be me) decided to offer a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize, 2nd and 3rd for those hits leading up to 10,000.

So here's the lucky winners:

THIRD PRIZE

Third prize at hit number 9,998 goes to Julie Camacho.  Julie, who happens to be our daughter, suggested money as the prize.  That was a really good suggestion Julie, so you will be awarded $1.00.  You would have been awarded more but over the years you and your siblings made numerous withdrawals from The Bank of Gassaway which has caused the failure of said bank.

SECOND PRIZE

Second prize at hit number 9,999 goes to George K.  George suggested for a prize sailing around San Diego Bay in my sail boat while drinking adult beverages.  So at a time to be announce in the future, George K and his wife will be invited to said sailing excursion.  As the winner of this prize, George must bring his own adult beverages.

FIRST PRIZE

Hit number 10,000 is an unknown person in Jawa Barat, Jakarta, Indonesia.  This lucky person will receive the fabulous prize of a trip to the top of my windmill.  Just think of the view from the top of this Eiffel Tower like structure.  As an added bonus you won't have to deal with the French as you climb to the top.  While you're up there you will be allowed to change the oil in the windmill, as it is due for an oil change.  Upon returning to the ground, you will be asked to leave.

If you are this person, please contact me via the comment section at the bottom of this page so arraignments can be made for you to claim your prize.  Please hurry, because as I said, the windmill is due for it's oil change.
