WINDMILL SERVICE

Well, it's past time to service the windmill.  Since I won't go up there, I've been using the kids to risk their lives to climb to the top, but when it's time for service, they don't come around much.  But not to worry as I found a service in nearby Ramona, who for a price, will do the necessary oil change and greasing of parts.  Enjoy the short video.

Do you power anything with the windmill or is this just routine service?

It's yard art Randy, really big yard art. Powers only my imagination as I can see it from my recliner. Gets an oil change and grease every two to three years. You should stop by and see it someday. I'll even let you climb it if you like, but I'll watch from the ground.

I'd love that yard art. I remember digging footings and framing at your place, ahead of the Kneeshaw build. I learned a lot there. Must have been 1975 or 76ish...

Yes, I'd love to see it and will stop by sometime. IF, big if, I climb it, get your drone out!
