For those of you who didn't make the Bar-B-Que, here's what you missed. About 40 guests, not including children, showed up for Beer, Brats, Burgers, and some great championship chili. Seems one of my friends didn't like that fact we were serving beans, so he brought enough chili for all from a recent chili cookoff he had entered. He took 3rd place, so it was a great addition to the menu. There was cake too. It was a great afternoon and with a nice breeze so the windmill was-a-turning.
THE CAKE
Persons who helped in the actual windmill project were awarded partial ownership in the Orchard Hill Windmill Cooperative, with majority interest retained by me.
Here's a copy of one of the ownership certificates:
THE ORCHARD HILL
WINDMILL COOPERATIVE
EST 2011
WHERE AS: DANA GASSAWAY IS THE SOLE OWNER OF A 1933 M0DEL 702 AUTHENTIC AERMOTOR WINDMILL, BUT WOULD NEVER HAVE ACQUIRED SAID WINDMILL IF WILLE WILSON HADN’T STUMBLED UPON IT. ALSO, MISTER WILSON INTRODUCED TO DANA GASSAWAY THE GOAT FARMER WHO OWNED THE APPARATUS AND INFORMED DANA GASSAWAY THAT THE GOAT FARMER WAS USUALLY DRUNK BY 11 AM. WITH THIS VALUABLE INFORMATION, DANA GASSAWAY WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE SAID WINDMILL FOR A REALLY CHEAP PRICE.
WHERE AS: WILLE WILSON HAD A REALLY BIG TRAILER AND PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION OF SAID WINDMILL TO ITS CURRENT LOCATION AT RANCHO POCO A POCO.
WHERE AS: WILLIE AND PATTY WILSON ALLOWED THE WINDMILL TO BE MOUNTED ON THEIR PROPERTY FOR OPTIMAL VIEWING BY THE SURROUNDING HOMEOWNERS.
THEREFORE: DANA GASSAWAY GRANTS TO WILLIE AND PATTY WILSON 16% OWNERSHIP OF SAID WINDMILL.
Here's some photos of the festivities.

Now for all of those who missed out on the party and have yet to experience the excitement of the windmill actually spinning, I've included this video. After watching this you will all quit asking me, why?

I love the windmill, but when I click on the video, it says "This video is private". Unlock the video!
Ok, sorry about that. It should be working now.
Ok, the video worked. Very tranquil but I think one of the blades is bent, can you get up there and fix it. It's very distracting.
